Japanese Vocabulary:

  • shopping: kaimono | かいもの
  • to buy: kaimasu | かいます
  • something: nanika | なにか

Japanese Phrases:

  • will you buy something?: nanika kaimasuka | なにか かいますか
  • I will buy sushi: sushi wo kaimasu | すし を かいます
  • what will you buy?: nani wo kaimasuka | なに を かいますか

How To Practice:

Practice using the phrases above while shopping to state the actual items you are buying and ask others what they will buy.
