What is Kanji?
Kanji Is Japan’s first writing system brought over from China thousands of years ago. Each individual complex character within Kanji represents a MEANING, this of these characters as symbols rather than letters with only sounds attached to them. Pretty cool hey!?
Over many years the Japanese modified the original form of Kanji to suit their language structure more closely. They even simplified Kanji to create their own unique “Alphabets.” Such as Hiragana and Katakana.
